Lumessa started in Switzerland from a simple observation: most people only think about facial care once there is something to correct. We think that is too late.
Where the name comes from
Lumessa goes back to lumen, the Latin word for light. The soft ending gives the name a southern sound - closer to care than to technology, and deliberately not laboratory-like.
Light is also what the result is about. Not about change, but about how skin returns light: cared for, awake, alive. That is why our routine is called the Glow Ritual and not an anti-wrinkle programme.
Prejuvenation instead of anti-ageing
The idea is called prejuvenation - prevent rather than correct. Instead of fighting lines, it is about caring for the skin regularly and gently. Lumessa is therefore not something you need from a certain age. It is for anyone who wants to give their skin attention - wherever they happen to be.
A ritual, not a product collection
Our three products are designed to work together as a routine: Face Tape overnight, Face Cupping for circulation, Gua Sha for contour. They work on their own too - together they do more.
What we do not promise
No miracles, no numbers, no retouched before-and-after images. Our products are cosmetics and accessories, not medical devices. What they can do is written on each product page - nothing beyond that.
How we ship
We ship directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, with no middleman. That takes 5-10 working days, longer than you are used to from Swiss shops. In return we pass the saving on to you and shipping is free. We state this openly rather than hiding it in the small print.
